Memberships Wrestling Information For Beginners & Fans
There are a variety of styles of wrestling, and each style has its own set of rules. Folkstyle (the style wrestled by schools from elementary through college) generally tends to have a higher emphasis on safety, and therefore more defined illegal holds and moves. Rules are changed every year to enhance the sport and increase safety, so always check the most current official rulebook for your style for the latest information.
